This is the second book I have written about security. The first one was about individual security – called ‘Becoming a Secure Christian’ (see side links) – how we can be secure in God’s love, to become the real people He wants us to be, the people He has designed us to be. This book goes on from there and focuses on being secure as a church.
My experiences of over forty years as a Christian and well over twenty as a leader, have left me convinced that often we are very insecure as churches. As a result of this people are afraid to be themselves and so ‘church’ is a pretense and we are unable to become the people Jesus wants us to be.
I hope you will find this book very down to earth, dealing with very practical issues – such as how to be real, and how to love and accept other Christians, especially when they aren’t like you!
